Tonight at Friendship Youth, we will be discussing portions of the book Fifty Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die. This book, originally entitled The Passion of Jesus Christ, contains 50 of the many reasons Jesus came to die. John Piper does not reduce Jesus’ death to a mere 50 reasons, but chose 50 of the most important reasons (in his view) that Jesus Christ came to die.
Be prepared tonight to jump in deep to the many vital and powerful reasons why God’s only Son, God in the flesh Jesus Christ, came to this sinful and wicked earth to die for ungodly men!
